Make chores fun. Jump in with the children and start singing some oldies or dancing with a broom. Make beards with the dish soap. Tell jokes while folding laundry.
Set up a tracking system and include rewards. This is probably one of the most popular tips I have seen with chores. I have seen friends using chore charts, stickers, and pockets.
Connect the chore to a specific family issue or problem that needs solved. People love to solve problems and be the hero who fixed an issue.
Assign specific chores to culprits. If a particular child is messy in the bathroom, then have that child be responsible for cleaning the bathroom.
